To feel golden. A journey not yet taken. Love or survival.
David, a late 20s Korean American from Pennsylvania, has had strange dreams about a mysterious young woman with white, wavy hair and azure-blue eyes. He feels like he knows this woman. Mary, a seemingly young though mature Korean American woman from New York City, often eats at the restaurant he works at and coincidentally has run into him outside of work. He doesn’t realize that she’s a servant, known as a lamb. Her alignment of servants is locked in an eternal conflict against the subjects, the demons, devils, and monsters.
When Mary, looking precisely like the white-haired, azure-blue-eyed woman from his dreams, saves him from a subject, she presents him with a decision. Join her in this new dimension, or refuse. Yet David does not know that she has been made a target by Giovanni, a demonic subject blood contracted to Ivan, a mighty subject. With the clock ticking for them both, David accepts and becomes a servant. Known as a lion, his eyes shining golden against the darkness, Mary immediately gets to work training him for the inevitable—an ultimate battle against Giovanni.
Join David as he overcomes more subjects and makes a permanent decision about his shadow, spirit, and being.
For lions seek their sunlight.
And servants bask in its warmth.
